With less than 24hrs till our biggest event of the summer we thought we’d give you an idea of the running order for Saturday evening and some tips for the weekend!<br />
<br />
1) PARKING: arrive early! The gate will be open from 7:30 (no sooner) and someone will park you in place to ensure the space is used efficiently. If you are camping please (where possible) park by the toilet block for the weekend for your own ease! <br />
<br />
Once we are full people will be asked to park by burger king or on the verge by the first gate (a Marshal will be there to direct you). If you are planning to stay late but not stay over please leave your cars by Burger King or move them after the game day.<br />
<br />
To ensure this is done as close as possible we will be stopping cars to do one at a time and Marshal will be taking everyone’s reg plate and names so we can give you a shout if there’s any parking issues should you block anyone in!<br />
<br />
2) FOOD: we will Have the usual food available through the day and into the evening if staying (don’t panic) and our wonderful vegan Marshal has prepared curry, chilli AND a vegan medley for those none meat eaters for the evening. Food will be available from 17:00.<br />
<br />
3) CAMPING: if you haven’t booked camping with the camp site don’t worry! Just let the admin know your camping drop the cash with him for everyone camping and we’ll run it down to the bottom for you so it’s one less thing to worry about.<br />
<br />
If you are staying in your car please let the Marshal at the gate know so you can be parked accordingly.<br />
<br />
4) TTT: this will be a nice cool down after the game day while food is prepared and the competitions are set up. So if you’d like to play it’s going to be ran at 16:10 and Shakey PETE AND Dan will be ready by the safe zone entrance to take you. This will be capped at 20 players and is a pistol/shotgun only job so get ready fast and be there to do this.<br />
<br />
5) we will be taking ZERO walk ons this weekend. If you aren’t booked then unfortunately you won’t be able to play. If you are a member you are fully entitled to play the evening games though so head down! Also, remember guys that MVPs are not useable this weekend as it is a special event! <br />
<br />
6) there will be a sign up sheet in the hut all day for both the pistol comp, the doubles comp AND the time trails. If you wish to get involved in these then sign up, the cut off is 15:00 so if you are attending site after this time please drop us a message directly (not on this post) and we will put you down to play.<br />
<br />
7) running times: (these may change as things over run)<br />
<br />
- pistol comp 17:30<br />
- doubles comp 18:30<br />
- Awards 19:30<br />
- time trails (if people are still up for it) 20:00<br />
<br />
Mercia are going to be (weather permitting) running a competition through the evening by the range.<br />
<br />
8 ) anyone that wishes to sell any second hand stuff please make a sign and leave it by your kit. Please follow defence rules when selling and remember anything like this done is off your own back. <br />
<br />
9) Any questions or issues please grab a Marshal and they’ll do their best to sort! <br />
<br />
10) remember MVP is a little different this weekend in that you don’t get a free game... you get a years FREE membership so it’s all to play for! <br />

Booking for the Gaol will open at 18:00 tomorrow for members which will Follow the usual process of booking over the phone on ‭07557 519091‬ or sending your payment in full to info@alpha55airsoft.co.uk.<br />

This event will be a popular and is capped at 50 players! <br />
<br />
If you wish to bring the deposits to site at the weekend that’s fine also but as always it’s first come, first served. <br />
<br />
The price for the Gaol is £45 and you are required to pay the full amount. If you unfortunately can’t come It’s up to you to sell your spot.<br />
<br />
None members bookings will open Monday at 18:00.<br />
<br />
This is a 16+ event but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. <br />
<br />
An event group will be made and everyone added as people Book.<br />
<br />

This weekend saw a lot of photo bombs happen!<br />
<br />
We were wondering if you have many in your airsofting days if that’s you getting photo bombed or doing the photo bombing?!<br />
<br />
Let’s see!

Operation Alpha 1 scores....<br />
<br />
So the green team shot ahead points wise<br />
By nabbing a lot of the critical ‘A’ grade objectives. <br />
<br />
Tan kept searching out quantity to keep up but getting some bonus’ based on achieved orders.<br />
<br />
Kill wise greens had a MASSIVE 227 kills to the Tan teams 116 kills!<br />
<br />
VIP wise Tan pipped greens on kills which helped even the odds slightly. <br />
<br />
At this point Greens were ahead but after taking account deductions on both sides for leaving the game area through the day it got a lot closer. <br />
<br />
The decider though.... There were specific rules for Milsim game that were broken causing 3 BIG deductions on the green team and 2 on the Tan. (You’ve got to follow the rules of the pack!)<br />

Meaning the winners were.... The Tan team!<br />

Well done to all involved! It was great from a marshalling point of view to only be there to count scores! <br />

A special thank you to the commanders and seconds who step to help direct their teams! <br />

MVP’s for each team were decided by their opponents so again great sportsmanship shown by all! <br />

The next Milsim will be 7th May and Bookings open tomorrow at 12:00!<br />

We’re going to follow the same format with different objectives time wise!<br />
